addictedtoadventures:

Spotted this on FB.

And I LOL-ed alone after a friend posted this as a continuation:

the 80s to early 90s… when sporeans only had 3 free-to-air channels and we would wait in anticipation for tv2’s dunhill double movie nights. when on sunday mornings i would stare at a blank green screen or grey boxes before the morning cartoons came on. when i got my first walkman (not shock-proof!!) haha. when wristpouches and snap-rulers were the shit. when we had 4-digit postal codes and 7-digit home ph numbers. when there was no ERP. when feeder buses were not air-conditioned and had metal seat handles and red sponge-filled seats. when there was no EZ-link and student fare was 45cents on any bus.

when the E-W MRT line was represented by blue and green (one for each direction) and the N-S line by red and yellow. when ‘CCA’ was still called ‘ECA’. when we used blackboards and OHPs in school. when liquid paper had to be applied with a minibrush attached to the cap. when bernard harrison still ran the zoo and most schools had zoo membership. when we still had Fanta glass bottles. when radio sets and hps still had extendable antenna… it’s great reminiscing!

—-> TV2’s DUNHILL DOUBLE MOVIE NIGHTS were awesome & pretty much the highlight of our week!

I missed those days. They were much simpler.
